Yes Dublin in Georgia! I never heard of Dublin, but we soon made our way through this unique hometown USA.
Betty Page was the curator at the museum. She was very helpful in filling us in on the history of Dublin. We mentioned that there were some very beautiful homes in the area. She told us that as a child she lived in the big white house that was now a Bed and Breakfast.
I love visiting little towns around the country. I find it interesting that many of the small towns look very similar. Their little "town squares" are so quaint and reminiscent of a simpler time. We live in such a fast paced world now, we sometimes miss the roses along the way.

I love those old Carnegie libraries. We had one downtown when I moved to this area in the mid 1980's and, working downtown, I spent a lot of lunch times in there. It closed (moved to a modern building several blocks away) and the building, after sitting vacant nearly 20 years, was rescued by the local university, which renovated it and turned it into a culinary center. I am happy Dublin recognized its value and turned it into a museum.
How interesting.
I love that clock! Fantastic piece of horology.
Beautifully captured.
I love how many small towns are capitalizing on their old buildings and homes and making somethimg of themselves.
Beautiful photos, love the clock.
Looks like an intriguing town. I love that clock!
Nice town. There's also a Dublin, California!
