By the Sea
Hubby was given a Fish Charcuterie Board and I couldn't help but dig out some antique dishes that I had to set a table.
The fish dishes belonged to Hubby's grandmother, so I don't know the origin.

Day trip
Hubby and I took a day trip to Mount Dora.
It was beastly hot so we didn't walk around very long.
Just enough to see a few places.
It has changed greatly since the last time I was there, many years ago. It is mostly restaurants and cafes. No more little shops from local artists. Which was a little disappointing. Everything changes over time.

Summertime
Summer time.....
and the livin' is easy........I found these cute plates at Target a few years ago.
The vintage cups and saucers are Taylor Smith Taylor.
One colorful feature of this table is the quilt I used as a tablecloth.
The backdrop for this summertime table was a quilt I made called Card Trick. I always felt this quilt was perfect for a porch setting. I so enjoy savoring the colors of Summertime.

In the Shelter of Hollythorne House
In The Shelter of Hollythorne House by Sarah E. Ladd is a lovely Regency story.
Charlotte Grey and Anthony Welbourne met and fell in love, but their feuding families made it impossible. When Anthony went away to fight a war in America, Charlotte married Roland Pryor. Who turns out to be cruel and keeps her almost as a prisoner. When Roland dies, Charlotte see this as a chance to find freedom for herself and her young son Henry.
When Charlotte's brother in law hires two security men to protect her and his presumed heir, Charlotte is surprised to find Anthony as one of these men. Anthony is just as surprised, not realizing Charlotte had married.
There is mystery and intrigue throughout the story. Miss Ladd writes good clean romance with deep character development. If you love Regency period stories, this one is for you.
I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
