The great change
When we bought this house there was this fabulous deck.
The deck started to show it's age as the wood started to weaken. Next step was tearing it out.

Rejoice!
and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you."
Psalms 5:11 ~
The Silver belonged to my BFF who passed away 13 years ago.
Her family did not want any of these pieces, so they passed them on to me.
1 Chronicles 16:10~
I always wanted dishes with sweet Scripture verses.
When I found these at Ross, my daughter and I were on the hunt to find enough pieces to complete the table.
'The Lord reigns!'" 1 Chronicles 16:31 ~
It was so much fun making the rosette napkins.
This weekend we will be celebrating the Risen Savior. If it was not for the sacrifice HE made, we would be dead to sin, eternally. HE paid the price for the debt we owed.
We are all sinners, since we have all done wrong things. But God made a way for us to be forgiven so we can have eternal life in Heaven. All we have to do is recognize our sinfulness and accept that Jesus paid the penalty for our sin when he died on the cross and rose again from the grave.
Have a blessed Easter!

All That it Takes
Wow! An amazing contemporary romance. A tender story that is inspiring and beautifully written.
Val is such a wonderful character. So true to many as she blossoms from an insecure, cautious girl into a brave overcomer.
Miles, an outreach Pastor, finds himself out of international work and placed in a run down ministry that he feels is his exit door from the Salt and Light church.
Val rents Miles' upstairs apartment and so begins an opportunity to get to know each other. Tucker, Val's exuberant 10 year old son, plays a significant role as well.
I have read Nicole Deese's other books, one of which ties in with this one, but All That it Takes is a stand alone story. One that you will not regret reading. The characters, plot, and humor are full of courage, forgiveness, love, hope. A story that brings full circle lies we believe into the light of truth. A heartwarming, clean story. I could not put this one down.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion.

Artichoke Bread
Okay, let's just say if you Love bread, and if you Love cheese, and if you Love Artichokes........... do I have a recipe for you!
I found this recipe on the Plain Chicken blog, but was originally posted on Smoky Mountain Cafe. This Artichoke Bread is mouth watering.¼ cup butter
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
4 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup sour cream
1 French bread loaf
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic (we actually used more garlic) and cook until fragrant, about one minute.
Add the artichoke hearts, Mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and sour cream. Stir to blend. Remove from the heat and cool.
Slice the bread lengthwise and scoop out some of the center. Spoon the artichoke mixture evenly into the bread shell and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
Place each half on a baking sheet and cover lightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes or until the cheese melts completely. Cut into slices and serve warm.
Let me tell you, this is BETTER then Artichoke dip!
Enjoy!!
