Anne of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables has always been a favorite around my house.  The book, the movie....... anything Anne is a delight and treat.  I thought we would join Anne for a cup of tea and a little glass of cordial.

Thank you for joining me and Anne for a cup of tea.

Beyond the Tides

Beyond the Tides by Liz Johnson is centered around PEI and Meg Whitaker and Oliver Ross.

Meg has hated Oliver ever since he ruined her chances at a scholarship to an Ivy league school. Because of her mother's failing health, her dad tells her he is selling his lobster fishing boat and license to Oliver. Stunned by this news, she doesn't want her family legacy going to him. They begin working together, to compete for the right to own the boat.

This is a touching story about forgiveness and faith. As both Meg and Oliver open up about the hurts of the past, they come to an understanding. And the attraction that brews makes for a sweet romance.

I loved the characters in this book. They were real, with real problems and heartaches. Oliver is hardworking and has overcome many disappointments. He is willing to sacrifice everything to make things right. This is a good clean romance.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion.

Since You've Been Gone

Since You've Been Gone is the third book in the Restoring Heritage series. Small town stories where two couples find their way back in Heritage, Michigan.

There are a lot of characters to keep up with. Mostly from the other books in the series. Even though I have read the other two, it was a bit difficult remembering about the others, as they played out their roles in the story line.

Leah and Jon's story revolves around her grandfathers general store, which she wants to reopen. Jon offers to help, which starts a round of clearing up misunderstandings. Madison returns to Heritage to sell her childhood home, and meets singer Colby Marc. Madison has a to battle her bad reputation, but Colby tries to win her by proving that people change.

Tari has a way of writing good clean faith filled fiction. Because of all the characters involved, I would suggest reading the other two books in the series first.

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through Net Galley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Rows of blues

I have collected blue dishes for years. I love the mix and match of these dishes.

Do you display china through the year?? What season is your favorite?
