Outdoor Wednesday

We have a bird feeder in our back yard.  For years we have had an ongoing battle with the squirrels.
You see they like the bird food just as much, if not more, then the birds that visit the feeder.
A couple of years ago we bought a baffler and it has worked pretty good in keeping the squirrels at bay.  The squirrels now just clean up the seeds that drop to the ground.

I have been following Susan's blog (Between Naps on the Porch) and her adventure with squirrel wars.  It is a never ending battle just keeping an eye on what these little guys will come up with next.

Yes, the little varmints eat more of my birdseed than the birds do! I did put some peanuts out for them today. Maybe they'll like them better, we'll see! I've enjoyed Susan's squirrel stories, too:)

I have heard that this has been a bad year for squirrels.Yet we have not had a problem but our neighbors have. Maybe our dogs keep them at bay.

We had a squirrel thing on our birdfeeder and it worked great and then a bear came to the bridfeeder and ripped it off our tree. That was the end of the birdfeeder.

Your yard looks so nice and those little squirrels as cute as they are can be little stinkers! We have lots of them and it's hard to feed the birds - the little stinkers get there first.
Thanks for popping in to see me and your kind words.
You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
