Metamorphosis Monday

When we moved into our new home a year ago, my daughter wanted to add bookcases to the end of her room.

This is what the wall at the end of her room looked like before we bought the house.

She measured and figured and tried to decide what would be the best use of the space. We thought about having a custom built bookcase but after looking at this area for a year, we went down to the IKEA store and purchased the Billy bookcases.

Now let me tell you these bookcases come in boxes that need assembly. And my dear sweet daughter put them all together BY HERSELF!! Her brother did help her get them placed in the room. But I think she did a GREAT job!!

She has a little Ladies desk that belonged to her Great Grandmother which she positioned on the slanted wall by the entryway.

Doesn't it look great!

I think she did a fantastic job, not only on the bookcases but decorating as well.

Check out the other Monday Morphs at Between Naps on the Porch.

They look perfect in that spot! Love how your daughter styled them...really beautiful! I was amazed at how easy the shelves are to put together when I assembled mine. The instructions are all pictures and no words. :)
