When I was a little girl, I remember being out shopping with my Mom. These little scissors were part of some kind of kit. I've had these scissors for over 40 years. They are marked JA Henckels/Germany.This is a pair that belonged to my Mom.
And as time went on, I started picking up scissors here and there.Thrift store finds -

(and don't even go there about how many scissors we have for scrapbooking. This is only a sampling :-)So a pair of scissors for every occasion! Sewing, crafting, scrapbooking, card making........ cloth scissors, paper scissors, manicure scissors, hairdresser scissors, the list could go on.

Oh yes, we have scissors and don't you dare cut paper with my best fabric shears and NO ONE takes the kitchen scissors off the counter. We have scissors in the bathroom, living room, kitchen, mudroom, barn...
and that is not thinking about the paper edging scissor craze I went on when the new Michaels store opened next town over.
OMG, I think i only have like 2 pairs of scissors and I use them for everything! no wonder nothing cuts right :-)

I love how obsession start and keep going. No, I don't collect scissors, but if I found a funky pair I would probably buy them.

I think I have as many if not a little bit more scissors. I managed 6 different JoAnn stores at one time and they just accumulated. LOL
Yes, I have some like several of yours. Some of mine are very vintage. You certainly have a good collection.
