OMG! How cool is that! My husband and I went to the Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge in Mississippi and didn't see any and there is two beautiful cranes in your front yard! How lucky! Kelly
Love the shot of the two of them by the sidewalk with their heads down...I have to admit though if they showed up in my yard my dog would have an utter breakdown!
These are fabulous looking! And they posed for you as if they were lawn ornaments! I have to agree with Ann though, my dog would go nuts if we had something like this in our yard. She goes ballistic over crows!

Love your pictures. We have Blue heron here on the lake but I haven't seen many this year. Blessings
That is AWESOME!!! I hope you do have "babies"!
Very pretty tea cup and saucer too.
Warmly,
deb :)
That is interesting that they roam as a pair. I think they would be neat to watch.

These Sand Hill Cranes do look like lawn ornaments. I agree with Robin from CA.

They are both graceful and odd at the same time.

That is very cool. I love to see blue herons around here. They are relatively uncommon so it is fun to catch a glimpse.
Great photos of the sand hill cranes. When we lived in Florida they were all over our neighborhood. I miss them.
Hugs, Jeanne
That is so amazing!
