Outdoor Wednesday

One year ago, I spent the most incredible week with my BFF in the heart of Ohio Amish Country. Because it was already November, most of the Fall foliage was fading fast, but there were still signs of brilliant color left on the trees. What a wonderful way to spend a week. Good friends don't really need a reason to spend time together :-)

The Blessing of a Friend

There's a blessing in our friendship.
It's a bond between we two.
For the Lord brought us together,
And I thank Him now for you.

You've been there when I needed you,
We've shared our dreams and plans.
And when at times I've fallen down,
You've given me your hand.

You are always such a joy
Each time that we're together
But more than that you are my friend
And in my heart forever.

I was in Amish country in Ohio a few years ago. It really is quite beautiful in its simplicity. How wonderful that you go to enjoy it with a friend.

Visiting from Susan's Outdoor Wednesday.
