Decisions, decisions!

I never knew there were so many shades of beige!

Currently there are six choices on the wall.

Next big decision - CARPET!!

I've been known to take years to decide on a color! I'm sure it was so much simpler, back in the "old days" when there were only a few choices. Good luck!
Happy Monday!

I've been looking for the perfect color for our bedroom...I'm thinking sand but do you know how many different fabric cards look like sand then I get the samples and they look gold...now my bedroom is starting to look like a very ugly gold quilt...and I mean U*G*L*Y

Jocelyn, I'm so glad I have a partner in crime to go through this process with - please keep us updated on your new home! Look forward to hearing about your color choices - I too am trying to choose some neutrals for our new house - lots of painting to be done there! Thanks for visiting me at Shine Your Light. Look forward to seeing your progress as you make your new house a home.

Oh my! I can CERTAINLY relate! Some days I think if I have to make one more decorating decision for our new house my head will explode. Lol. :D

It's tougher than you think to find the right beige. We finally went with a taupe color - it's an old Martha Stewart color called - oh rats! I just had the name and it slipped my mind. We liked it so much we painted the guest room and our bedroom that color. Anyway, it's hard to find one that brings the right amount of warmth without going blah. I'm glad you're painting on samples. That helps so much to see it in different light. Be sure to try some of your woodtones against it too. Looking forward to seeing more. :)

LOL. I just had a discussion with my usband about what shade of off white we wanted to get. He said just get the "off white one". I brought home 21 samples of shades of "off white". He just looked at me as if we stepped into a new galaxy! LOL

Hi Jocelyn,
Your new house is so pretty, it looks like it belongs in a magazine! You are going to have such fun making it your own. Love your picture of the palm trees!
