Vero Beach

Last weekend we traveled down to Vero Beach. Three hours of driving on a long stretch of undeveloped road. But we found some interesting places.

I love these little bit of history signs.

Rock mines and tree farms.

LOTS of tree farms.

Hummm... maybe not all Christmas trees come from up north.

Most definitely. We've got some tree farms not far from where I live.

A great road trip under beautiful skies. Blue Goose Mine looks interesting!

This is cool. Why shouldn't Christmas trees come from somewhere besides up north??

I knew (when I lived in Florida) Vero Beach for its beaches. This was back in the 1970's. As an older person, I'd be interested more in the historical marker and its information.

Cow pies! LOL! Think I will take a break from commenting on blogs now. Glad you are out and about experiencing new things to see and fresh air.

I agree, those historic signs help people to reconnect with the past.
