Josh Porter is in Texas gathering information to help him achieve his Grandfathers approval for ownership of his New York business. The delay and loss of his beloved horse sets him back. But his dream is redirected, and his friendship with Louisa turns his heart in a new direction.
I enjoyed this uplifting historical romance. Ms Cabot has written a heartwarming engaging story. Ms. Cabot's writing keeps interest by bringing romance and suspense into the plot. A great historical fiction novel, which is a stand alone story.
