I don't know what it is....

about pink dishes that always seems to entice me.





I found this set of W. H. Grindley & Co. "Kenwood" dishes last year at the local Hospice Thrift store. They were stacked into a small plastic container and the moment I spied them I knew I had to have them.



The stemware was another thrift store find.  I found four of these glasses several years ago and had been on the lookout for more but never found this same pattern. Then last year, as I was perusing an Antique shop, I found them!  However, they were at Antique shop prices. I ended up buying two and spent more on the two then I did on the four. But hey, at least I had enough now to set a pretty table.

I'm setting 2 table for the ladies church tea party in a couple of weeks.I'm thinking 1 table pink and 1 table blue...I'm on the hunt for blue theme tea cups!
