A Little bit Green

Have you ever noticed that on St. Patrick's Day, everyone seems to be a little more Irish??  It's pouring down rain here this morning, which makes everything that is green, appear that much greener.

I only have a couple of pieces of Jadeite, but I love the cool green colors.

Isn't it perfect for a piping hot cup of tea on St. Patrick's Day?

Hi Jocelyn,
I love the shade of green in the Jadeite! It is a soft shade and not gaudy; perfect for St. Patricks Day. The table set with your green and the vine is so pretty! Thank you for sharing with us and joining me for tea today.

Blessings,
Sandi

The Jadeite is perfect for your St. Patrick's Day tea. There's no Irish in me but I married into an Irish clan and the one thing I picked up on right away, is they sure can show temper.

My Mam-ma had a set of Jadeite when I was growing up. She showed it off in a china cabinet. Over the years, all the pieces disappeared. After she passed away, we didn't find any in her house. Whenever I see Jadeite, I think of her.

Oh I love your tea setting. I have the same dishes - didn't think to use them for St Patrick's Day - but they are great for spring too.

Okay - I've had it! Been seeing so much jadeite lately - green on everyone's blogging mind - and it would appear that I must put it on my list in treasure hunting this season! Love your teatime vignette - so cozy - and the green jadeite has such a vintage warmth to it for taking tea and toast. Just lovely!
Joy!

Enjoyed Your sweet post.I too would love more Jadite. I have only had one in all these Years, but that one I was given as a young bride 37 years ago to take out camping.I'm so glad I kept it and eventually took it out of the camping box. Denise
