Prayer

"We cannot run our spiritual operations on the prayers of the past generations. Many people believe in the efficacy of prayer, but not many people pray. Prayer is the easiest and hardest of all things. It is the simplest and the most sublime, the weakest and the most powerful. Its results lie outside the range of human possibilities; they are limited only by the omnipotence of God." E. M. Bounds on Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray.

(Luke 18:1)

Hi,

Visiting from Spiritual Sundays! Prayer is an awesome gift that God has given to us. It's powerful and produces astounding results. It's the only way to know God personally, of course, next to reading and studying his Word. May we pray without ceasing.

Blessings,
Judy

I'm a 4th generation Christian but I needed my own salvation--and prayers. Awesome quote.
