Here we go again. The start of Hurricane season. Hurricane Isaias is hurrying up the gulf coast. We have had a LOT of rain the last few days, and this will really soak the ground. Here's hoping and praying Isaias will dissipate quickly and not leave too much damage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cities of Gulfport, Mississippi; Mobile, Alabama; and Pensacola, Florida are within the storm's forecast path, as of Wednesday morning.
Forecasters say Isaias' exact track is not yet certain, but people across the Gulf Coast should prepare themselves for impacts from the storm.
Hope all turns out well
Scary.
Ditto.
I just read the updated forecast as of the time I'm posting. They are expecting landfall as a category 3 now. Hoping all affected remain safe. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
I hope everyone is safe. My only hurricane experience was Alicia in Texas in the 1980's pretty weak has hurricanes go and I lived 100 miles from the coast but it about kicked my butt. I vowed to go Nebraska next time.
Hope it goes out to sea ~ be safe and Happy Weekend to you ~ Hugs ^_^
Oh my. Stay safe!!
I was pretty sure I remembered you were in Florida but not sure which part. Hope all is well and you have missed the worst of Isaiah. I honestly thought there wouldn't be any landfalls this year as it is already so late in the season! As usual, it sounds like the rain will keep on being a problem for a while even after the storm itself is gone. We're in Oregon now, but while holding good wishes for those affected, could not help but be grateful that the part of Florida where we own our canal cottage has escaped this storm.
