The Tapestry of Grace

Augusta Dyck is a widow raising a daughter alone. She is content to teach school, but when the summer break comes around, she joins a group of ladies that is determined to help widows and orphans.

Konrad lost his wife and is trying to raise his twin boys. He finds it difficult during the summer, as he needs to work and cannot keep an eye on them. After he himself having an accident as a boy, leaving him scarred, he seeks Augusta's help in finding a wife and mother for his boys.

The story was pleasant to read, a bit drawn out, but it kept my interest. Great character development, with lots of lessons that are learned along the way. Definitely a faith based story, with old world values. Kim Vogel Sawyer is an excellent writer as testament to her other works. She weaves faith throughout as her characters find hope in their reliance of God.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley.  Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
