The Don CeSar is a magnificent hotel in St. Petersburg.
There is so much history involved in this pink palace.
My hubby and I were commenting how years ago the building was deserted and in disrepair. At one point ready for demolition.
The last time I was over to St. Pete (years ago) there was land surrounding the building. But no more. Every inch of land is built up around it.
Read about the history of this majestic building.

Great shots - it's so hard to get a good photo of Don Cesar unless you are out at sea or in the air. Beautiful
Reminds me of the Royal Hawaiian here in Waikiki! Glad to share meme with you
Cool building.
Great sky shots with the architecture juxtaposed against ~ Xo

That is a striking looking building.
So glad they didn't knock it down! Ditto what Cloudia said... it does look like the beautiful Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki (also called the Pink Palace).
I like pink so this speaks to me.
Worth a Thousand Words
Lovely PINK building. Nice capture.
It is a grand and imposing building.
That is one beautiful building. I just looked up its rates for if we are able to travel to Florida this January. Yikes! I'll have to admire it from afar.
