 A lot of work is going on during highway construction. But the tug boat does it's job of moving equipment, supplies, barges over the water.

Amazing to watch how such a little thing can move such huge (heavy) things.

I don't know why it is that summertime always gets me thinking about chickens. We have chicken decorations in our kitchen, so setting the table comes naturally.

 The crowing rooster is a pitcher.

This pair are a salt and pepper that we found at an antique mall. Mr. Roo looks pretty fearsome!

The Don

  The Don CeSar is a magnificent hotel in St. Petersburg. 

There is so much history involved in this pink palace. 

My hubby and I were commenting how years ago the building was deserted and in disrepair.  At one point ready for demolition.

The last time I was over to St. Pete (years ago) there was land surrounding the building. But no more. Every inch of land is built up around it.
