Storm Rising

"He's never killed a woman in cold blood before, but now was as good a time as any."

These were the first words from the prologue of Storm Rising by Ronie Kendig, a hook and the beginning of an epic drama. Former Navy Seal Lief Metcalfe is living with the fact that he as lost six months of his life. Due to his specific set of skills, he is given the opportunity to once again lead his own team of heroes.

The action is intense and the team of characters are set up to find the ancient text from the Septuagint, the Book of Wars.  Iskra “Viorica” Todorova is a trained assasin and just as bent on finding the ancient writing.

Ms Kendig does a substantial amount of military research and it shows. Action packed, this thrilling suspense is a page turner. It is definitely an interesting read. Great for suspense lovers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
