Chili on a Chilly day

When the days are cooler, I love to make a pot of Chili to serve up hot and filling. Add a little salad on the side and what a great meal to ward off the cold days.

I love these beautiful dishes I found at Goodwill. I nearly left them because they only had Soup bowls and salad plates. I'm so glad I decided to bring them home.

Soup and Salad dishes - Mornay by Mikasa (Goodwill)
White Chargers - Westbury Court by PTS International (Home Goods)
Soup Tureen - Nortake (Antique shop)
White plates with silver rim - Royalton China

What a lovely table! I just made a big pot of Chili last week and it was sooo good! I think of it as comfort food on these cold winter days. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.

Blessings,
Sandi

I made chili too for the first time last week - it was too spicy (for me) so will adjust for next time. I did not have such lovely dishes to serve it in though!

Well this knocked my socks off because you served the chili on beautiful china! I never use mine but definitely should.

Thank you for sharing at Thoughts of Home on Thursday. Great post!
