A Goodwill find

Whenever I go to a thrift store, I have certain things I am on the look out for.  One thing that I've admired is the Butter platforms I've seen on a couple of blogs.  Marty has one in her kitchen.  She shows it on her post HERE.

I've never come across the Butter platform, but I did find something interesting at Goodwill.

I thought this was such an unusual piece.  Fromage means Cheese in French.

And who could pass this up for $2??  Now if I can only find the platform for it to sit on :-)

Great find - it looks good on your cake plate. Every once in a while you can really find something terrific at GW and SA.

Having had French in high school, I recognized the cheese label right away! Love cheese, a grand way to display it!

Fromage totally caught my eye. It's one of the few words I remember from High School French class. I love these kinds of finds. It's beautiful.
