Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving our country. In the United States it is celebrated on the last Monday of May. It is an honor to pay tribute by raising the Red, White and Blue, the colors of our American Flag.
Let us pay tribute to the Red White and Blue by honoring those who gave their all.

Lovely post. I really like the red dinner plates that you used, along with all the red, white, and blue!
This is a wonderful patriotic table, Jocelyn! I love the centerpiece you put together. Both decorative AND utilitarian!!! Those are always the best!!!!!!
I hope that you and yours have a safe and fun holiday weekend. Take care of yourselves!
It's harder than one would think to put together a great centerpiece that can also be used during the meal. You've done a great job here! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
Amen to this. It's not about picnics and retail sales. It's about honoring those who gave all they had to give. What a beautiful table. I love your dish choices, and my favorite part is the centerpiece with the flag plate and tea service. Since this whole experiment we call America started with a tea party, I think it's very perfect!
I love the pops of color! I would love for you to share this at http://hickorytrailblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/assets-and-efforts-linky-party-3.html
