Tea for One

Some days, it is nice to just treat yourself to a cup of tea, especially when the weather is a bit brisk.  Join me today as I enjoy a cup of Herbal tea.

My teacup lost it's saucer, so I paired it with an orphan Shelley saucer.

I found a selection of these lovely plates at the thrift store.  They are Faberware "Blossoms" and I just love the delicate spray of roses.

Tea Pot is David Michael China for Staffordshire (Made in England) and the cream pitcher is St George Fine Bone China (Made in England).
.
Do you have a favorite Herbal Tea??  I love True Blueberry.

Won't you join me visiting these parties?

I love all of these pieces! How sweet to treat yourself like that! I need to do this! My favorite herbal tea of late is peppermint! Had some last night, but not in a pretty cup and saucer like this!!

Hello there Jocelyn,

This teatime respite for one with you herbals tea is so soft, pretty and cheerful. Pretty teacups are always just so perfect to enjoy any time of year and then to just sit back and enjoy with a sweet treat and to sip a nice cup of tea.

It's so serendipitous that you found a selection of these lovely plates at the thrift store. with the delicate sprays of roses. Paired with your teacup that lost it's saucer, it is darling paired with your pretty "orphan" Shelley saucer...Lovely.

I do not drink a lot of herbals tea, yet I absolutely love, Cream of Earl Grey, black tea.

Cheers, blessings and hugs from Wanda Lee

Even having tea by ourselves, we can make it special with pretty china. A nice tea you've put together.
My favourite herbal is chamomile; it took me awhile to like the taste and that's when I realized it pays to buy quality tea.
