Tea for One

Some mornings, when everyone is gone to work and school ..........

...... when the weather turns a little cool, sitting by the window brings the sunshine and the outdoors in.

My Friendly Village china is mostly a winter scene, but I have a few of the Autumn plates to use at this time of year.

I grab a good book, and enjoy a little time with my cup of tea and a breakfast bread.

The sun coming in from your windows always is so welcoming. I also love Friendly Village for this time of year. The autumn scene on your plate is so perfect for a fall day. This is a great way to have a cup of tea and a treat.

Thanks, Pam

I love Johnson Bros anything! Friendly Village is one of my favorites. Nothing like a cup of tea, a good book, some quiet time. Happy Tea Day!

Sounds perfect! Living in a sun challenged area, our sunroom is essential! My perfect afternoon tea is with a book in the sunroom. Love your dishes...Johnson Brothers is wonderful. Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

What a great place to sit and read and sip tea. I had never seen the FV Autumn pattern, nor did I even know there was such a thing. It really is pretty.

When my son was 5 he noticed "friendly village" in an antique store. All the time he would talk about it. He's now 21 and has a whole set of it. I'm going to give it to his wife some day. I hope she gets to have a quite tea by herself someday! Very nice of you to share! Jules~

This is my idea of a quiet time alone too; tea and a good book.

I love the sweet Autumn scene on your Johnson Bros. I can't believe that I was not familiar with this until I found one sweet little pitcher at a thrift shop. Love it! Thanks for sharing it with Share Your Cup. Enjoy your sweet tea with the morning sunshine.
