Christmas, here we come

Fall and Thanksgiving have come and gone, and now we are on to the Christmas holidays.

We recently visited friends and I could not resist sharing a picture of the table she prepared for us.

If you want to know, those are real antlers in her centerpiece.

We enjoyed a delicious Fish Gumbo and Greek Salad.

But the magic is about to happen.  Sylvia's table will be transformed for Christmas.

Don't you just love the red checked chairs!!

Let the magic begin!

Both the Thanksgiving and Christmas decor is lovely. Some people really know how to pull it together.

Hello,
the first table is sweet for autumn and Thanksgiving time. Love the happy colors and the decoration. And the Christmas table is also nice. The vibrant red witht the white decoration elements reminds me to the colors of candy sticks. The chairs are perfect for that table, too. Thank you for sharing and for your visit with the nice comment.
Best greetings, Johanna

Both tables are equally lovely.

love both tables, amazingly the black and white check on the floral cloth with pumpkins and antlers totally works! Sometimes I think the crazier the combo, the less you question it!
The Christmas table is perfect with the red & white checked chairs. Thanks for sharing

I do I do I do! I recently covered two little vintage chairs for my kitchen in a red check, and now I keep looking all over the place to see what else I can cover with it!

Thanks for sharing your friend's table -- I LOVE seeing this.

Great! They simply turn a thanksgiving table into a christmas theme by changing the decorations. I love that mini Christmas tree decorations in the table.

love that Christmas red! Your table looks like a person could actually sit at it and eat. So many others seem to be just for show.
