Alpaca farms were the rage in Oklahoma back in the 80's.
I believe a Facebook friend of mine raises alpacas (or is it llamas... I confuse the two)!
We have a couple of alpaca farms in the part of New York State where I live. Years ago I purchased gloves and a hat from them.
