To Disguise the Truth by Jen Turano is the third book in the Bleeker Street Inquiry Agency series.
Eunice Holbrooke has been dressed as a widow for seven years. A disguise she wishes to maintain. Arthur Livingstone comes to the Inquiry Agency seeking to find a missing heiress, which unbeknownst to him is Eunice.
Eunice and Arthur have a lot of banter back and forth. Arthur being the gentleman that he was, was bound by his vow to her grandfather to protect Eunice. Which she abruptly disavows.
This was a fun novel to read. There are a lot of twists and turns and adventures for Eunice. Complex and a bit of unbelievable romance. Arthur maintains his loyalty to the end.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own
