As we embark on yet another New Year, there are uncertainties that lie ahead. The Lord does not send out a calendar of events that will happen in life. We are more likely to be taken by surprise as the story unfolds. God, in His great goodness, knew that we could not handle knowing what each day would bring. So we step out in faith, facing each day as a new adventure. However, our loving Father is not ignorant of each step. Even when we cannot feel His presence, He is with us.
"And the Lord is the one who goes ahead of you, He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8

I love this post. You are right, we step forward in faith. We can plan all we want but sometimes God has different plans.
Oh I love this! The year I was diagnosed with cancer, I knew something was wrong, but never thought cancer. If I had known before I would have been terrified. I was terrified when I knew but just think if I had known ahead. I am thankful we don't know HIS plans. I am thankful every day I wake up. And I realize every day is a gift. Thank you for this post.
