Traditions

Traditions.  Does your family have traditions for the holidays? Our family has enjoyed sweet family time with my in laws for as long as I have been married.  When my hubbys Mom passed away, she left behind memories of family gatherings around her big table. Lots of laughter, conversations, and good food were shared by all.

So we have started our own family traditions. I have auditioned a November table as a jump start for the Holiday season.

I love to bring out the Johnson Brothers china.

Cake platter painted by my late mother in love.

There is nothing like the warmth of the Holiday season, setting the mood to radiate love around the table.

Are you ready for the Holidays??  Thanksgiving is only two weeks away!

This is so pretty. Love those dishes- such a perfect pattern for this time of year. Isn't it wonderful that you and your family have the good memories with your mother in-law at Thanksgiving time. I still remember our gatherings as a child and while there were no elaborate center arrangements the table was always set with pretty dishes. Cheers to a Happy Thanksgiving.
