A quiet holiday

Not much happened over the Christmas holiday.  My sweet daughter pretty much took over and prepared a wonderful Christmas morning breakfast.

I'm sorry we did not take a picture with the food on the table, but I had to share these pictures of the bacon being prepared to go into the oven.

We did have a nice tree and the little village was on display.

I almost don't know where to start.  It has been a very challenging holiday with my wrist surgery.  Christmas was quiet and low key, and I was dreading the 26th when the staples were to be removed.  It certainly was no picnic taking out over 30 staples from three incision sites. I'm also going to physical therapy to try to get my fingers moving again.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.  I have missed being a part of blogging, and I am praying for a full recovery and use of my right hand.
