Sunlit Sunday

Some parts of the country are still deep in snow.  But here is the deep south, we have been enjoying 80 degree weather.

I've started planting Pansies, Impatients and even a few veggies.  But the most pleasure I get is seeing these sweet little birds come to the bird bath.

See this little fellow looking at his reflection in the water??  Actually he was getting ready to hop into the water.

I tried to capture him in the water, but he was too quick, and my point and shoot was too slow.

Hello! I recently just started a youtube Korean food channel, EasyKoreanFood, where you can learn how to make fast & easy Korean food! It would mean the world to me if you could check it out because I'm just starting out! Thanks!

So sweet. We watch the birds in our birdbath every chance we get. They are hard to capture on film! Enjoy!

One of my favorite things --- watching the birds in the bird bath. What fun they are! Quick too! Fun post!

I have a couple of Pyrex pieces. One is a solid-coloured aqua bowl that was my mother's. She had it for decades and I decided to keep and use it when she passed away. It reminds me of her, working away in the kitchen.

Good Morning,

I can see that "Just a Little Southern Hospitality" extends to providing a welcome place for birds in the garden! My birdbath has snow on it now, but will come into use further down the line. Meanwhile, I put some seed in the feeder yesterday.

I'm so glad you decided to participate in "Sunlit Sunday" this week and share one of your bright and warm Southern days here in my part of Canada. Thank you.

So pretty! I have NEVER been to The South. I really want to experience it. I am amazed that's it 80 degrees already. Not humid yet, though? We have had nice weather here in Central/Northern California. 60-70s. Beautiful bird in the birdbath. So so sweet.

Well we are on the edge in Ky. of the north and south. Of course we have 4 seasons very well defined here. The climate is definitely changing since I was a child but I love the change. Your post makes me more anxious for spring and summer. Blessings.

Oh, 80 degrees. sigh... It's snowing here yet again and I did enjoy your photo of the bird on the birdbath.

Watching a bird take a bath is very enjoyable. You got some nice shots of him though even if you didn't get him in the water.

How lovely to be planting your spring flowers already! I also enjoy watching birdies taking a bath whether in a bird bath or a puddle of water. They are so cute. Pamela

It looks like a tufted titmouse. I haven't seen them use my bird baths, but they probably do.
80 degrees!! I'm jealous...We could use about 3 days of that here to do some fast melting of our snow!
Cute pictures! Enjoy your sunny warm weather! Ours will come...eventually!

Charming photos - and I sure would like to share your weather. While we don't have snow right now - we do have wind and rain and wind and rain and wind. Hopefully spring comes soon.
