A couple of years ago I took a trip with my husband to Kansas. I have never been out to the Prairie before, but it was such a fun trip. These kinds of sights are new to this city gal.

You know - I find this so restful looking. I drive from Colorado to Missouri to see my grandkids and of course cross Kansas. I drive along and imagine what it would be like to live on that farm or this other one. I just pray they don't have a drought again this summer or we are all in big trouble!
after living for the last 30+ years in the San Francisco area with all its hills, this looks pretty flat to me.
I would find it very easy to live here. It is very much like the Central Valley of California but a LOT bigger.
