Hello...

..as I sat outside, enjoying the early morning breeze and taking in the beauty of the day, I thought about inviting you to share a treat.

So I laid out a place setting, just for you.

Let's spend some time in some fellowship together.

Watching the birds at the feeder and listening to the water flowing in the pond........

and from the fountain.
So this morning, I invite you to share this little bit of beauty with me
...... and enjoy the God who is sovereign over all.

Summer time...

and the livin' is easy........

I found these cute plates at Target a couple of years ago.

The vintage cups and saucers are Taylor Smith Taylor.

One colorful feature of this table is the quilt I used as a tablecloth.

The backdrop for this summertime table was a quilt I made called Card Trick. I always felt this quilt was perfect for a porch setting. I so enjoy savoring the colors of Summertime.

Psalms for Little Hearts

Image result for psalms for little hearts

Don't you love reading the poetic Psalms? Psalms for Little Hearts is an introduction, written in a simple and rhyming paraphrase, of 25 of the most beloved Psalms. The illustrations are so sweet and in an inviting way, draws one into the words on the page.It covers so many different topics such as God is my rock, God gives me joy, trust in God, God keeps me safe, and God listens.

This little book is a great way to introduce a child to Bible reading. As the author, Dandi Daley Mackall states, the book of Psalms is still relevant today.

Buried under a pile of other books, I only found it recently to review. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher for this review.

Anniversay elegance

My sweet hubby sent me these beautiful flowers for our anniversary. I could not resist dressing the table for an elegant tea in honor of our years together.

My beautiful wedding dishes. I don't use them very often but I still love them.

You know I have always said that we grew up together. We met very young and married soon after. Going through good times and bad, spending a lifetime with your best friend is such a blessing.

Thank you for stopping by to visit here. I hope you come back and visit again.
