Mur-mu-ration

Mur-mu-ra-tion - it is something amazing to see.

Each fall thousands of starlings dance in the twilight above England and Scotland.

The birds gather in shape-shifting flocks called murmurations, having migrated in the millions from Russia and Scandinavia to escape winter’s frigid bite.

Unreal. Thanks so much for sharing.

You asked about the silver. I use Tarn-X. You can buy it at any grocery. You just pour some in a bowl, use a sponge and apply it full strength to the silver, then watch the tarnish disappear. Love this stuff. Rinse right away and then dry. That's it. Hugs, Marty

ps - I use a product called Bright (Brite) Boy for polishing metal. Cheaper and works better than Tarn-X. Not sold in typical grocery stores, but Marine (boating) shops, Smart N Final and other specialty supply shops possibly for BBQ maintenance or restaurant supply source. Works great!

Hello,
this is really fascinating. I have never ever seen so many birds flying in a bunch. It looks like bird ballet.
Thank you for sharing.
And.... your patriotic tablescape is wonderful.
Best greetings, Johanna
