Teacup Tuesday

There are so many Tea parties going on today, so please be sure to check out the other lovely Teacups and Tea Parties.

My teacup today is called Royal Patrician.

Fine bone English china with very sweet delicate pansies.

Just had to take a solo picture of the saucer. It is so beautifully decorated.

A very sweet friend came to stay with me a few years ago. She brought me this lovely teacup which had been purchased in Amish Country. I love the delicacy of the flowers. And of course the flower overflowing inside the cup invites you to take a sip of your favorite tea. Mine is Mango, what's your favorite??

Hello,
that is a wonderful tea cup. I never saw this pattern before nor knew the maker. It is amazing how much we can learn by blogging about fine china. The pattern is so serene. Thank you for sharing this treasure.
Best greetings, Johanna

We used to sell Royal Patrician. I was sick when they closed the doors on that business. The teacups & teapots were hot sellers. I was so in love with these products. Yours is gorgeous, Jocelyn. I am strictly English & Irish breakfast teas ... Lipton in a pinch.

Have a greata week ~

Beautiful - I'll have to show my mum, she's Royal Patricia, lol. My favorite tea is either Earl Grey or Irish Breakfast!

What a gorgeous cup and saucer. My current favorite teas (and this changes all the time) are Coconut Cocoa (herbal), Vanilla Rooibos, Orange and spice (like this one iced) and strawberry black tea. Variety is nice.

That is such a pretty pattern. I was so sorry when they closed in 2009. Such a shame. I think their patterns have perhaps been purchased by another English firm though. I hope so! So pretty!
