We never had a fireplace in our old home. It was something I always wanted, as it gives the house such a warm homey feeling. When we bought our new home, I was so delighted that it had a fireplace in the living room. However it did NOT have a mantel. So one of the first projects was to fit the fireplace with a mantel.

Very beautiful!
It is so beautiful. I wished we had one.
Love your spring mantel, but especially love those white birdhouses and that green ivy.
Delightful!
Very pretty! The birdhouses are adorable!
Love your Friends & Family serving pieces! I'll be right over.
Your spring mantle is pretty. The birds are sure singing around here.
Warmly,
deb
Just beautiful, hon!!! I miss having a fireplace - we had one growing up - lots of sitting around the fire watching hockey games on tv with my dad - and always, one of my mum's beautiful oil paintings above the mantel. We don't have a fireplace here and it just doesn't feel like home without it!
Pretty Spring mantel!
Hugs,
Lola
Just simply beautiful. Elegant and understated. I love that soft buttercream yellow in the background above the fireplace. The print and florals are perfect too. Thanks so much for linking to my Egg-xellent Spring Mantel Party. Blessings, Barb
