VTT

I've been thinking about how to do VTT this week. March has been a pretty busy month in our household. On top of that, we were away last week. Very far away ;-) So the Vintage Things I want to share with you are about our time away.

We live in a country that has it's beginning a couple of hundred years ago. Last week I traveled with my dear hubby on a business trip to Belgium. Now THAT is an old country -

It is amazing to me that some of these building were built in the 1400's.

I believe this building on the right is a newer one. Built in the 1600's.

Send the Princess to the tower -

Thanks for coming along with me on my little Vintage tour. Please be sure to stop by ColoradoLady's blog and visit the other Vintage Thingies.

When I was younger, I did a lot of traveling. I never got to go to this interesting place. I am not sure what the buildings were made of back then, but they seem stronger and better built than some of today's.

I love that Old World architecture. I had that same feeling when we visited Germany several years ago. It makes you realize just how young our country is in comparison.

The craftmanship was so evident in those buildings. How wonderful we still have them to admire. Great trip and post.

Beautiful buildings, what a great feeling of history. You are so right, we forget that our country is just a baby in comparison to the world. Have a Happy Easter!

Really beautiful buildings!!! And great pictures too.
When I go home to see my family in Italy, I am amazed too to think that certain buildings are as old as 2000 years old, like the Colosseo in Rome: it gives me chills to think I walked where Julius Caesar walked, the same stones!!! wow...
