Tea in the Garden

For most of the US, summer is coming to an end.  Here in the deep south, we still will enjoy sunshine and balmy days.  But even so, I wanted to spend a little time in the garden.  The azaleas have all been trimmed, waiting for a little cold weather to start their blooms.

My African Violet has been so full of blooms.  I just had to take it out to the garden and enjoy its beauty.

This Old Royal Bone China sugar and creamer were purchased on one of my trips to Chicago.

My daughter brought the Russian Orenburg Lace Scarf on her first trip to Russia.

Tea in the Garden.  It's always a delight to share a tea party with you.

You've created a cozy tea in the garden vignette. I like the choice of china and the lovely garden hat on the chair with the lace scarf draped over.
The weather is getting a little cooler here, easing us into autumn.

What a lovely tea - I have never had luck with African Violets - and yours are amazing. I think they just get too cold here.

Your hat is awesome!

What a darling Tea In The Garden you have set up and I loved seeing the violet on the table! Wish we could all just sit and chat over tea - that would be fun! I plan to do alot of tea parties when I retire!

Hello Jocelyn - your tea in the garden is just dreamy - I am enjoying these balmy days - there's a hint of fall in the air - like newly made, warm tea iced tea. I will be featuring your post in this week's A Return to Loveliness,
