"Friends.............

...grow separately without growing apart."

Do you have a special friend that is growing in a different part of the world? I think we may all know someone who is special in our heart, yet they are miles away.  I set a table on the porch this morning, with the sunlight pouring in, listening to the water flowing in the fountain, in honor of such a friend.

Come share this table with me.  I'd love to spend some time with you, growing together.

Hi, Jocelyn,
I love your quote about friendship. I do have a friend that lives in another state. We have been friends since we were young children, three or four years old. I can still pick up my phone and have a conversation with her just like it was when we were young girls growing up together. I enjoyed your pretty table setting and would love to join you for a visit with a cup of tea. Have a lovely September week! Vicki

Yes, I do have a friend of 39 years and she recently moved to another state. I love your idea of having a "friend" tea. Maybe I'll do one and let her know so she can have one at the same time, it'll be just like being together. Thanks for inviting me to yours.
Hope your day is great!

You have put together a sweet friendship tea that would be nice to attend in person as well.

What a beautiful way to honor a friend by a special tea. The darling Friends teapot is the perfect choice. Your fountain is wonderful to listen to the cooling sounds of water. Have a lovely week!

Your tea by the fountain is just lovely, Jocelyn. It is nice to remember friends who don't live so close by. I'm sure should she see your post, it would warm her heart. Thank you for joining me.

Blessings,
Sandi

I too have many friends who live far away from me. Martha is one. I love your thought here of "growing" together as friends whether you are near or far. Your tea time is very lovely. I do love your tea pot! And that wonderful water feature outside!
Hugs,
Terri

Our friends are such special treasures from God. It is always so special to gather with old friends around a table and pick up the conversation where we left off...no matter how many years ago. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
