Mother's Day Tea

Preparing a table for Mother's Day brings out my Depression glass pieces.

I've enjoyed collecting "Heritage". It lends a touch of the past to my table.

When my Mom passed away, I found two cups and several saucers of this pattern, which started me on my trek of finding more.

Through the years I've found dinner plates, salad plates, cups, saucers, and serving bowls at Antique shops and even at the Goodwill.

The sugar and creamer - Emily's Attic by Gorham.

I love the look of glassware. A perfect table for any holiday, but elegant looking for a Mother's Day Tea.

Jocelyn,
This tablescape using the vintage depression glass is exquisite! I can't seem to get enough of this color palette this Spring! The soft yellows seem to lift my Spirits and revive me! Thank you for visiting and leaving such a nice comment!

Depression glass designs are always so fascinating to me! I am glad to know the name of this one is Heritage. Your idea to start the collection from your finding the cups and saucers in your Mother's things is so sweet. The Mother's Day table set with the wonderful collection is very elegant! Enjoy your Mother's Day.

What a pretty, feminine table! Depression glass is often hard to photograph, I find, but you've done a spectacular job showing yours off to perfection! I love the sparkle it has with the gold accents!
