Collections

The Polohouse is hosting Favorites on the First. This month we share "Collections?" I collect several things, but probably my favorite collection is my Tea Cup collection.

Each tea cup holds a special memory.

And for Christmas my sweet hubby bought this pair of Limoges Tea Cups. I just love them!!!

So my question to you is.......... what do you collect??

oh, limoge tea cups too!
How wonderful your husband got you those 2 for Christmas. That is what is fun about a collection..you have a memory about where you got them and the circumstances.

Your tea cups are wonderful!!!

I love the shapes and sizes and the sentimental reasons you have them!

I have so many collections, it is embarrassing, but my mother and grandmother were antique dealers so I have many favorite things that I love through their teachings. Then there are just things that speak to me too!

THANKS so much for linking up.
I am thrilled that you did.

I love tea cup collections, although I don't have a collection perse, I could put them together from my sets of dishes. Your teacups are gorgeous, though, I have always admired them from your posts. Happy New Year.

A wonderful collection...and I, too, collect teacups and teapots! They are both decorative, useful and lovely! What's not to love!

What a fun question. Stop over to my place where I share bits about my collection, and yes tea cups are at the top of my list.

It is good that you mention that your tea cups have memories and stories with them. True collecting is not about hoarding, but about relationships and fun.

A Happy and Blessed New Year to You and Yours!

What a sweet collection of tea cups. Do you ever use them? I try to use some of my collections, like my flow blue china, but I am usually too afraid of breakage to do it. I enjoyed seeing your collection!

Fun to see your wonderful collection of tea cups! Thanks for sharing. I collect many different things. Probably too many to begin to list. Some are things that just happened and grew into a collection, much like the inkwells that I shared. Then I have some collections that I've worked at finding pieces to add to them. Quilts would definitely be in that category, though I no longer seek out quilts. Sure do enjoy the ones I have! ~ sarah

Hi,
your tea cup collection is beautiful. Such a collection is helpful, too because one can use it. I love beautiful china and silver flatware with roses, which I collect.
Best greetings, Johanna

Dearest Jocelyn,

I love your delightful collection!

Thank you so very much for so generously and kindly gracing our blogs with your various lovely Tuesday tea party links. Thanks also for visiting our blogs time and time again and leaving sweet words of comment and encouragement with your participation for our Tuesday Tea's for our, 'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday', as well as for my, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', weekly blog tea party.

Pam and I are going to very much miss you as we leave blog land for quite a long while. This is due to very important personal reasons that were unforseen; (even two weeks ago).

Dear Pam and I had a long and friendly conversation just two days ago. Upon my informing Pam that I needed to 'bow out gracefully', from blogland for the forseeable future, she requested that I also send this message of deepest gratitude and regret on her behalf also. As I bid you a fond farewell and as we both leave you and other very lovely fellow bloggers for the time being my friend.

Have blessed New Year in 2012!

Hugs and blessings from Wanda Lee, (and Pam; Pam is from her own, 'Breath Of Fresh Air', blog.)
