And this is a picture of the empty dining room, a clean slate.
The dining room starting to take shape.
The china hutch is a Thomasville reproduction piece that the former owners left behind. It was originally set up in the family room, but when I saw it I knew it had to take center stage in the dining room :-)
Here are some pictures of tablescapes that we've enjoyed in our new dining room.
Thanks to all who are nice enough to leave a comment letting me know you have enjoyed your visit here. I hope you come back and visit again :-)

Your tablescapes and dining room are so pretty! I remember when you were moving at the same time as me last year. I hope you've enjoyed a lot of happy times around that dining table and have many more to come.
Very lovely!!
Your dining room is lovely! A great place to entertain with your lovely tablescapes!

Your dining room is beautiful! And how lucky to have the previous owners leave that piece. It looks so pretty in there!
Have a great day!

Hello...
Ohhh...your home is fabulous, my friend! I love how "open" your dining room is to the entry of the house. I also love your Thomasville hutch and dining set...sooo beautiful! You certainly have created some lovely tables for your new dining room! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and tablescapes with us!
Warmest wishes,

What a pretty dining room.
Your dining room and entry are the exact same layout as mine! I have double beveled glass doors and an arched window. Unbelievable likeness. You did a great job with yours. Come check me out. Just type dining room in the search box or look at categories on my blog MAY DAYS.
Cheers!

I love it. It's so elegant. I'm just about to embark on a great dining room adventure myself. I would love it to have at least some of that same feeling. I like your light too.
Really pretty room. I love how open and light it is. Thanks for linking up to Open House Party!
I can't believe the previous owners left that for you! You definitely gave it the attention it deserves and the entire space is just beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Inspiration Friday this week!
