To Write a Wrong

Daphne Beekman is Montague Moreland. Because women were not looked upon favorably as writers in 1887.  So by day Daphne is a member of the Beeker Street Inquiry Agency. But by night, she pens mystery books that are best sellers, writing under a pseudonym.

Herman Henderson is well known for writing mysteries set in exotic locations. And is also Daphne's biggest competitor. He comes to the agency as a client, and so begins an adventure where two writers forge ahead with lots danger and romance.

This was a fun book. Turano is known for her witty dialogue. To Write a Wrong is a good clean book, a delightful historical romance. While it is second in a series, it can certainly be read as a stand alone book.

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
