Afternoon Tea

I'm so excited. You see my BFF is coming for a quick visit. Only for a couple of days, but it will be filled with fun, conversation and TEA!
I love my red china.  It makes for such a festive table any time of the year.

Is there no better way to enjoy the companionship of a friend than over tea?

There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.  ~Henry James

I love the red transferware too. Transferware in any colour is an absolute delight to me but I do favour the red. Your treats look wonderful on that little tray too. I believe it is the twin to mine. I am sure you and your friend will share sweet fellowship and many lovely cups of tea together. Thank you for sharing at my little tea party.

Blessings,
Sandi
