After digging out my blue dishes for the hutch, it seemed only appropriate to dress the table with blue. The flowers added a splash of yellow and red, so I included my Smith Taylor Smith yellow bowls.
I love mixing some of my Russian china with the Blue Willow and pieces I've purchased over the years from Cracker Barrel.

So pretty and summery!
I have some of the same blue and white--and I love it! A lovely table setting!
Such a beautiful table with your blues. Love each piece and wish they were mine.
I love your beautiful table setting with the blue and white dishes! The little yellow bowls look so pretty! I love Blue Willow and have a pretty big set. I never tire of it.
Be a sweetie,
shelia :)
Adore the blue and white! Such a pretty table. Thank you for sharing. Visiting from No Minimalist Here. Would love it if you would share this at my Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. http://thededicatedhouse.blogspot.com/2012/07/make-it-pretty-monday-week-8.html Hope to see you at the bash! Beautiful pieces! The blue & white lightens up the feel for these hot August days. The great thing about blue & white dishes is that you can easily mix & match them with abandon. Love it!
I'm always thrilled to find a tablescape design in my favorite blue, white, & yellow color combination. You and I could have worked together this week and hosted a large group...we were both working with prompting from the same design muse. I really like your Russian china. I cherish the couple of pieces that I have. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherey Kay
This color combination I think is a winner. Love your dishes. Very pretty table.
You have set a pretty table! Yellow and blue go so well together to set a cheery table. I'm thinking about getting some Blue Willow dishes....thinking really hard about it! I have a few pieces of this, but not enough to do anything, but hang on the wall.
Thank you for dropping by HomeHavenMinistry. I think the house in the post is probably built around 1880. Just a guess. I don't know for sure. With Newton, Kansas becoming a town in 1871 and the Civil War ending 1865ish some would say that is close enough to the Civil War era.
Sweet Blessings to you,
d
Blue and yellow is really a favorite and you really made them show at their best. Your blue and white pieces are all so very pretty. Love each one.. Such a pretty table.. xo marlis
Your whole tablescape is so pretty--I really admire the blue glasses that you used.
Your blue & white with yellow are perfect and cooling in this hot weather!
Oh! I love my blue and white too. That picture of your dining room is gorgeous. :) Such a pretty table.
