Our God is Able

There are times when the fog of life covers over and hides the truth that sets us free. There is a heaviness that brings defeat and despair. When we are so low, we give voice to our struggles and only see our self-interests. We can make a conscience decision to tune out the natural response, and tune into the super-natual realm as revealed through the Word of God.

Prov 18:21. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

The words we speak either bind or loose those ministering spirits mentioned in the 1st chapter of Hebrews.
Put voice to the Word of God in faith. Don't put voice to your fear and unbelief. When you hide the Word of God in your heart and then speak it out as confession of faith, you put ministering angels in motion.

OUR GOD IS ABLE. I claim the WORD of God that GREATER is HE that is IN me, then he who is in the world. MY GOD is the GOD of Elijah, Samson, David, Joab, Jashobeam, Eleazar, Shammah, Benaiah, Abishai and Paul

OUR GOD IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK Ephesians 3:20

This week had been a very stressful week for me. I finally realized the very thing you have posted here today. My desires are not on self now but on God and What He can do and has done in my life. I too claim God as my Redeemer and I denounce the depressive thoughts and actions Satan so much wants me to wallow in. Thank you for reaching out to me in your words today. God has blessed you with this insight.

I just quoted that verse from Proverbs to my granddaughter this morning, and we talked about the stresses she has in her life and what she could do about them. This was a confirmation to me that I used "the power of my tongue" to help her in her situation.

Hi There,

Visiting from spiritual sundays. Yes, God is truly able to do all things. It's in our darkest moments when he shows up the quickest and most powerful. I welcome you to visit my blog.

Blessings,
Judy

Able. Such a little word yet with so much wrapped up in it. It's what my God is--able! Circumstances might not change, yet God is able to see us through, able to stay with us, able to bless us "in spite of." I think this tiny word will fit neatly in my heart this week. I claim it!

Blessings,
Pamela

Amen and amen.

During this time of trial I have learned that we sometimes are given more than we can handle because the Lord wants us to lean on Him.

I wanted to let you know that at the 11th hour a miracle has happened. I knew it would :) He is ever faithful. Details will follow soon. Thank you for your encouraging friendship.
