Tea for Me

Some mornings, there is just enough time for a relaxing cup of tea.

A slice of raisin toast or a bowl of granola will round out the morning.

oops, I think the water is ready.

Join me, won't you??

A dear friend gave my son these dishes when he moved into his new apartment. Most of the dinner plates were chipped and damaged, but the cups and smaller plates were perfect. No markings, but I think these dishes may be from the 60's. The creamer and sugar bowl were painted by my mother in love. I found the Hall tea pot at a thrift store for just a couple of dollars. The Vintage tablecloth was another thrift store find :-)

I will join you! I'm taking my mid-morning break at work and catching up on some posts. And all the while I'm reading you, I'm drinking tea and eating a raisin cookie.

Thank you for sharing it with me. (Lovely dishes)

Your Mother-in-love's sugar and creamer are beautiful and you are so blessed to have these dishes. Tea things and dishes with special memories are the very best, and if used frequently , help us recall the people we love. Lovely post.
