A touch of fall

Today the shadows are playing. They are playing hide and seek and saying the days are getting shorter.

The smells and scents of the season.

Even the night air has a refreshing incense.

"The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly changes from the summer cottons into its winter wools."
- Henry Beston, Northern Farm

Happy Fall ya'll!

Beautiful! I woke late this morning, and looked out the window at the golden light of autumn....I think you can tell the season by the look of the light- autumn seems to be a thick stream of liquid gold. Love it!
