Silly Saturday

Did you really know that the word "silly"derives from the German word selig, meaning "blessed" or "happy"?

So today I am joining Susan over at Blackberry Creek Home Arts in Silly Saturday!

My daughter and two of her friends played for a wedding on the beach last year.

They had a little bit of fun too :-)

Enjoy your weekend.

Oh, Jocelyn, they look like they are having so much fun! Those are beautiful pictures of them. That must have been a very romantic wedding there on the beach. Wishing a lovely weekend for you and your family! Blessings! Vicki

This made me smile as it made me recall how my daughter (when in her late teens) would often play flute for things like weddings and large private parties...often as part of a small ensemble of musicians. She had fun, too. Thanks for a beach picture during this crazy cold winter!

These are fabulous photos! The lighting is perfect, the juxtaposition of casual/natural beach and formal attire/occasion is wonderful.
Just beautiful! Frame-worthy.
